Preventive maintenance

I have just been out to a hospital to service their main manifold for the oxygen supply. No service has been done for a number of years, but now they wanted the system updated. Not surprisingly, the parts inside the regulators showed signs of years of work – but it was still surprising how it looked. As can be seen in the pictures, there were quite a few particles on gaskets etc., even though there are filters in front of the system. The diaphragm itself in the regulator was well and truly serviceable for replacement. If it bursts, the input pressure comes directly through the regulator without pressure reduction. This could be fatal in the worst case scenario.

If you have a plant that is not serviced regularly (annually), contact Brisson Consult and we can put together a plan to bring it into compliance.
